We create this site to help everyone to save, and to bring this amazing buying power, group buy, to the next level.  Currently, most of the group buy activities are held on forums.  GRuuBy now serves a center point and platform to help more people.  Now you can view all the group buy activities from all over the forums and places into one stop.  As the prices for a lot of items are getting more expensive than ever, not many consumers are able to afford them nowadays.  GRuuBy is here to help all of you to buy the stuffs you always wanted with the best price available. 

GRuuBy is the place to help organizer/seller to facilitate and easily manage their own group buy activities, better than forums in most of the ways.  Anyone can list any products that can be group bought and post them here.  GRuuBy itself doesn't sell any products, we host this website to help members to post and buy, just like eBay.

Here are some of the ideas how group buy can be used:

1. You want something that has to be customized, and it usually requires certain buy quantities in order to let it happen.
2. Retailers usually wants you to buy stuffs in bulk in order to get the cheap price per unit, but you just don't need many of them.
3. Sometimes you see this phrase in stores: "Buy two and get the second one 50% off", but do you really need to want two?
4. You see some "Combo Deals" or "Packaged Deals" from Amazon.com, Newegg.com or etc.., don't you always feel you wish someone could buy this with you to split the things and cost?

Four easy steps:

1. Register as a GRuuBy member
2. Find listing you are interested
3. Sign up on the list, and wait for enough people to sign up (see the sample listing below)
4. Make payment through seller's payment methods and start to SAVE your money

1. Register as a GRuuBy member.
2. Click Start a Group Buy on the left column of the page.
3. Fill out the listing information as detailed as possible.  There's a Sign-up Settings available at the end for you to configure
4. Click Submit or Preview your listing.  (You can always come back and re-edit your listing to update any information you prefer).  

                          

• Click the Signups Tab to administer the sign ups. 
• Click the Signup Broadcast to email to signed up users.  (see sample pictures below)

Everyone can organize a group buy, whether you are a vendor, manufacturer, retail store, or just regular member.  If there is something that you are able to get group discounts from either manufacturer or retailer, you are certainly welcome to use our website to help you gathering people.

You can list anything from apparels, autmobile, electronics, computers hardware/software, event tickets, real estate.....and etc. The power is yours, you determine what's good! The only restriction is NO illegal and sexual items allowed.

Seller will collect all the payments from the signed up buyers.  We can't be involved in the payment process in anyway.

Generally you are only required to make the payment when enough people are reached for the group buy, unless the seller says otherwise.  The seller should notify the signed up members to make the payment through your desired payment method. 

Listing end date is the deadline that person who listed the product is going to end the group buy and no longer accepting new sign ups.

Make sure you keep inviting and networking with other people, group buy will only work when there are lots of people know about it.  The more people know about it, the faster the whole transaction goes.

The person who organizes the group buy can determine either he/she wants to end the group buy or extends the end date to another date.

Yes, you may.  Contact the seller to withdraw, and he will be able to remove your name from the sign up listing.  However, it's always better to sign up when you are really committed to buy, so the group buying process can flow more smoothly.
